usekeysofatleast192bits.Thisbarwillkeepraisingas
computingpowerincreases.(Itisarguedbysomethoughthat
thiswillneverhappenduetothelawsofphysics!)CryptIt
isdesignedtouseconventionalXORencryptiononkeysthat
arethesamesizeasthefiletobeencrypted.Furthermore,
ifyouuseanunpredictablefilethatisthesamesize(or
larger)thantheoriginalfileandyouusethisfileonly
once,thisisknownasaone-timepadanditiscompletely
unbreakable,eventocomputers1000yearsfromnow.Thisis
becausethereisnoalgorithmatall,justabigkey,and
thusthereisnopatterntofollowonceyouhavedecrypted
anypartofthefile.Thusattemptstodecryptitcould
resultinanyfile,andtherewouldbenowaytoverifythat
ithasdecryptedcorrectly.CryptItcanalsohassome
conveniencefeaturessuchasbeingabletoautomaticallyuse
padfilesgeneratedbyourprogramGigAlarm,generatekey
files(fromastreamcipherandthusnotbestforOTPusage)
andalsoanalysethesuitabilityofyourchosenkeyfile.
